Hana Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar in Alexandria

We have been here a few times and have enjoyed the hibachi grill every time! The chef puts in a great show in preparing the food, which is always delicious. And plentiful! The wait staff are attentive, the facilities are clean, and the food is good. What more can you ask for? Yes, it's a little pricey, but it's an experience, not just a meal.

Great sushi, reasonably priced, and great service.

Great place for dinner. Service was slow at time but worth it in the end. Dinner with a friend. Ordered Filet and Shrimp, Double rice and soup.

Manager is extremely rude. I had placed a to go order and he had no sense of respect for us. Considering we are bringing business to Hana, I would think he would have an understanding for customer service

Ordered Hana Sunday...we haven't eaten there since the whole covid isolation started..I was disappointed at the food. The chicken was dry and overcooked nothing tasted fresh cooked it was warmed up food...now the sushi was as good as ever..but please Hana go back to cook to order!

Traveled well during DoorDash delivery (we had the audacity to order ice cream tempura.) Shockingly good sushi. The bountiful shrimp and steak combo for two was also very tasty.

Probably wont go back until the pandemic is over but just seems to have been going downhill before this. Over priced for what your eating as well last time we went the cooking was all over the place. Somethings were over done(steak the noodles) others under(vegetables and the rice). Also our waiter never gave us a refill the entire time we were there.You cant ever get anyone on the phone to place a Togo order.

The sushi is really good here. I recommend the LSU roll and the Jazz roll. The hibachi grill is good. Sometimes a chef doesn't try and looks mad at the world when we go

Management was extremely rude, the food was undercooked and not traditional Japanese. The sushi was decent and seemed pretty good which is why I'm giving it 2 stars.

We love this place. The food is always great and service prompt and friendly.

The sashimi options are fresh and large portions. Hibachi is wonderful as well and they are generous with the amount that each person is served. Mixed drinks are also great. Our waitress was very attentive and always kept our drinks filled without feeling obtrusive. We didn't have the kids tonight but I'd highly recommend bringing them just for the enjoyable hibachi experience.

Let me start off by saying I will return! Okay, so I took my boys here after being told that not only is the food exceptional but the portions are huge! They were right. Our server Tiffany was amazing, attentive and friendly. My youngest son ended up liking the chicken broth soup so much she offer him another bowl 😁 he sipped on that through the whole show. Lol. I ordered the Rainbow Roll which tasted absolutely delicious and my oldest had the Salmon. Oh, I forgot to mention it was my boys first experience and it was a success! Definitely knocked it out the ballpark 💪Overall, the front as well as the back of the house all made our experience unforgettable and like I said, we will return!! Thanks a bunch 😎
